-
L Type Spiders - Solid Centers
- The L Type coupling consists of two standard L Type hubs and one spider.
- The solid center design is commonly used when shafts of the driver and driven equipment can be kept separate by a standard gap.
-
L Type Spiders - Open Center
- The L Type coupling consists of two standard L Type hubs and one spider.
- The open center design is commonly used when shafts of the driver and the driven equipment are positioned within a short distance.
-
L Type Hubs with Keyway - Inch (Imperial) Bores
- Standard L Type coupling hub materials are either sintered iron (L035-L190) or cast iron (L225-L276).
- The L Type coupling consists of two standard L Type hubs and one spider.
- Unless stated otherwise, hub torque and horsepower ratings assume a SOX(NBR) rubber spider is being used.
-
L Type Hubs with Keyway - Metric Bores
- Standard L Type coupling hub materials are either sintered iron (L035-L190) or cast iron (L225-L276).
- The L Type coupling consists of two standard L Type hubs and one spider.
- Unless stated otherwise, hub torque and horsepower ratings assume a SOX(NBR) rubber spider is being used.
-
L Type Hubs without Keyway - Inch (Imperial) Bores
- Standard L Type coupling hub materials are either sintered iron (L035-L190) or cast iron (L225-L276).
- The L Type coupling consists of two standard L Type hubs and one spider.
- Unless stated otherwise, hub torque and horsepower ratings assume a SOX(NBR) rubber spider is being used.

L Type Hubs - Solid (No Bore)
- Standard L Type coupling hub materials are either sintered iron (L035-L190) or cast iron (L225-L276).
- The L Type coupling consists of two standard L Type hubs and one spider.
- Unless stated otherwise, hub torque and horsepower ratings assume a SOX(NBR) rubber spider is being used.
-
L Type Hubs - Splines & Special Bores
- Standard L Type coupling hub materials are either sintered iron (L035-L190) or cast iron (L225-L276).
- The L Type coupling consists of two standard L Type hubs and one spider.
- Unless stated otherwise, hub torque and horsepower ratings assume a SOX(NBR) rubber spider is being used.
-
L Type Hubs - Special Short (S) & Long (X) Hubs
- Special hubs that are either shorter (S) or longer (X) than standard.
- The L Type coupling consists of two standard L Type hubs and one spider.
- Unless stated otherwise, hub torque and horsepower ratings assume a SOX(NBR) rubber spider is being used.
