Timken® Type TTHD Thrust Tapered Roller Bearings
(68) TTHD (Tapered Thrust Heavy-Duty) bearings are engineered for superior load capacity and efficiency. Each bearing features two thrust races, precision rollers, and a durable cage. This advanced design delivers up to 40% more load capacity compared to cylindrical and spherical bearings of the same envelope dimensions. The unique configuration of TTHD bearings provides a critical advantage: true rolling motion. By aligning raceway and roller extensions to converge at a single point on the axis of rotation, TTHD bearings minimize friction. This results in reduced heat generation, less wear on races and rollers, and longer service life for demanding applications. /Asset/Timken--Type-TTHD-Thrust-Tapered-Roller-Bearings_Main_Family_Picture.jpg
Timken® Type TTHDFL-V-Flat Thrust Tapered Roller Bearings
(63) Timken Type TTHDFL‑V‑Flat thrust tapered roller bearings are engineered for high axial load capacity and reliable performance in demanding industrial applications. Featuring a flat-seated flange design and precision‑machined tapered rollers, these bearings provide excellent thrust handling, stable alignment, and reduced friction under heavy-duty operating conditions. Built from premium materials and manufactured to tight tolerances, TTHDFL‑V‑Flat bearings deliver long service life and consistent performance in applications where axial forces and durability are critical. With a design that simplifies installation and maintenance, Timken® Type TTHDFL‑V‑Flat thrust tapered roller bearings help OEMs and maintenance teams optimize uptime, lower lifecycle costs, and maintain peak operational efficiency. /Asset/Timken--Type-TTHDFL-V-Flat-Thrust-Tapered-Roller-Bearings_Main_Family_Picture.jpgTimken® Type TTHDFLSA Thrust Tapered Roller Bearings
(12) Same basic roller and raceway design as the TTHDFL, except that the lower race is composed of two pieces whose faces are spherically ground to permit self-alignment under conditions of initial misalignment. TTHDFLSA bearings should not be used if dynamic misalignment (changing under load) is expected. /Asset/TTHDFLSA_3D.JPG
Timken® Type TTSP, TTSPS, TTSPL Thrust Tapered Roller Bearings
(36) Comprised of two thrust tapered races, rollers, cage and an outside retainer which holds the components together during shipping and installation. Off-apex roller arrangement. These are light-duty thrust bearings which are used extensively in the steering pivot positions of automotive and other industrial applications. Types TTSP, TTSPS and TTSPL are identical except for the cage construction. /Asset/timken-type-TTSP-tapered-thrust-roller-bearing-cutaway-rendering.jpg
