The radial internal clearance (RIC) for the bearing assembly must be included when ordering either a) the complete assembly or b) with the inner-ring set. The ADAPT™ bearing evolves traditional cylindrical and spherical roller bearing configurations into a new design so operators benefit from the key attributes of both types.

After mounting, for tight transition fit (keeping inner ring from rotating relative to shaft), inner-ring O.D. must not exceed raceway diameter on matching bearing.
After mounting, if O.D. of inner ring exceeds the required raceway diameter for matching bearing, ring should be ground to proper diameter while mounted on shaft.
Unmarked end of inner ring to be assembled against the shaft shoulder to ensure clearing the maximum allowable shaft fillet as indicated in tables shown.
